KPDs bring together fundamental science and industrial practice in composites manufacturing and design by capturing open, correct and usable knowledge. To facilitate the use of these documents by industry practitioners, the CRN has a framework called the Knowledge in Practice Centre (KPC). This framework presents the knowledge continuum from open literature, where knowledge is created, to proprietary industry documents, where knowledge is practised and managed. It will become invaluable to industry.
